March 2022 HCNS Silent Auction

HCNS is doing a Silent Auction this year in hopes to raise funds to use for classroom materials and expenses. All items being auctioned off have been donated by our generous families and surrounding community. We are so lucky to have such a supportive family and community.

The Hartland Cooperative Nursery School provides a nurturing and developmentally focused early childhood education program. This program fosters the love of learning while children discover the world around them.

The early childhood curriculum encourages the development of social and emotional skills, motor skills, cognitive skills, and the language arts including literature and language.

Creativity is encouraged through art and music. Math skills are incorporated throughout our daily activities. Science concepts are explored including body awareness, the five senses, nutrition, plants, animals, weather, and the four seasons. Children learn writing and reading skills as well as letter comprehension through writing and exploring the sounds of letters.

Listening skills are developed through circle time activities, story time, and show and tell. Field trips and outdoor play expose the children to the world outside of the school while focusing on learning and social skills. Creative play and changing themes provide a dynamic and stimulating learning environment that supplements our curriculum and engages the children.
