About Handzania.org
Handzania is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at improving the lives of others. Our mission is simple - Service and Teaching
• We recruit the best-trained surgeons from the U.S. to SERVE in Tanzania and treat patients who would otherwise not have access to specialized, hand surgery care.
• We TEACH local surgeons advanced procedures to ensure the education propagates
Our goal is to raise awareness and funding for yearly medical trips to Tanzania and invite local surgeons to the US to provide specific teaching in upper extremity surgery. We plan to continue and hopefully expand to additional areas with needs. But one cannot move a mountain alone.
