Since 2019, The Nightingale Centre for Grieving Children, Youth, and Families has been providing support to young people and their families who are grieving, while building a community of compassion, connection and hope through shared significant and often sudden loss experiences. Hundreds of families in Guelph-Wellington and beyond have been supported through dedicated grief programs, 1:1 family consultation, events, education and training since The Nightingale Centre’s inception. These programs and services are offered at no cost to families. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grieve in a supportive and understanding environment, and no family in our community should grieve alone.
