Hudson has been the education hub of Kitsilano, teaching our kids since 1911. With the much-needed new school building, it is time to give our students (and the community) a fresh, safe, accessible and exciting space to play and grow. This fundraising campaign is a rare event, occurring only once every 30 years or so. We urgently need your support to make it a success. If we don’t reach a significant part of our goal by the end of this school year, the children won’t have a playground by Fall 2025.

How Can You Help? To bring this vision to life, the PAC aims to raise $500,000 to cover the costs of the new playground and other outdoor learning environments. So bid generously!

Henry Hudson Elementary is currently undergoing a seismic upgrade, which means a new school, as well as a Neighbourhood Learning Centre, is being built. It will be an exciting addition to the community!
The Hudson PAC (Parent Advisory Council) is undertaking a massive fundraising initiative that will directly contribute to:

Upgraded Classroom Technology: We aim to provide our students with access to much needed technologies that facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Expanded Library Resources: We want to enrich our library with diverse and up-to-date materials, ensuring that students have access to a wide range of educational resources.

Playground & Gymnasium Equipment: Our goal is to provide safe and functional equipment that is designed to support educational objectives, as well as, to foster a sense of community, encourage social interactions, and promote a healthier lifestyle.
