IDI Breast in Show

Did you know October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month? Breast Cancer Awareness Month highlights the importance of early screening, via breast Mammography to detect any signs of breast cancer and allow for early treatment options and better chances of survival.

While there are many recommedations out there, the American College of Radiology recommends women start this important annual screening at age 40.

To increase awareness for this important exam and celebrate all our community survivors, IDI has decided to host a "Breast in Show" Auction this year. We have partnered with members in the community, including Healthcare providers to encourage them to decorate a bra to go up for auction. Each of these unique bras will be available to bid on between October 1st - October 31st, 2024.

100% of all proceeds raised from this auction will be channeled back into our community to provide free screening exams to our uninsured patients.

For over 20 years, Institute of Diagnostic Imaging has been your local, outpatient imaging center solution for exams ranging from X-Rays, Bone Density Scans, Mammograms, Ultrasounds, CT scans and MRIs. Outpatient imaging allows us to work our patients in faster (same day access for many exams!) and cost 50-60% less than our hospital counterparts.

As a part of our large, Breast Cancer Awareness initiative this year, we have partnered with the community to create this live auction, "Breast in Show." All proceeds from the purchase of these one-of-a-kind bras will be channeled back into the community; providing vital women's screening services for under or uninsured patients.
