Help six Rutland 8th and 9th graders travel to Hanamaki, Japan as part of a delegation in June. Then later in the year we host a delegation in our homes in Rutland. This is part of a sister-city friendship established in 1986 between the mayors of Rutland and Ishidoriya, now Hanamaki.
The estimated cost for us to travel and host is roughly $25,000. Students, chaperones, and their families fundraise for every dollar. Thank you for your support for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
