Jessica Dertell - Road to Paris Olympics 2024

Hi, my name is Jessica Dertell, I’m 19 years old and I work full time as a rider at my family farm, Future Farms, based in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria. In the coming weeks Sabble Farms amazing stallion, Cennin and myself head off to Europe to continue our campaign in hope of representing Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in Dressage. It is a massive journey ahead that we plan to undertake with confidence and determination!

Cennin and myself are lucky enough to already have met the qualification criteria for Paris, although continuing our campaign and our training in Europe is a must! Hopes and dreams don’t come without a cost so we are planning to run this online auction to help support this Dream. We are looking for all the help we can get to ensure Cennin and I can undertake this massive journey and make this dream a reality!

Cennin and I fly out to Amsterdam early April and will be based at Krom Stables training with Annemieke Vincourt Krom in The Netherlands. I will be staying here until August when we will both fly back to Australia - hopefully after representing Australia at the Olympics. I have an apartment organised for my stay, and will be having daily lessons. We aim to compete at a few Nations Cup Dressage events for Australia as well as other CDIs whilst based in Europe.
