About Our Auction
Kimberley Junior Public School Council- Online Auction 2020
Funds raised will continue to help pay for visiting programs like Scientist in the School, Artist in the School, field trip transportation, technology, sports equipment and classroom supplies. Additional and more specific efforts are being made this year on facilitating technology and updates to classroom materials. The council, at the request of the school, has recently purchased a computer cart to house the Chrome Books for the grade 4-6 classes. It is our hope to “fill the cart” with computers so every child has individual access for learning purposes. We are also planning to enhance literary programming in the primary classrooms with specialized leveled reading book sets.
Please note we cannot issue tax receipts for any auction items, except the “donation” item, when 2 have been purchased (so $30). All other items are considered “benefits” for your payment. Any questions about this, ask us.
All payments will be taken at pick up (March 9-11), we take cash, cheque, or card.
About Kimberley Junior Public School
Kimberley Junior Public School (GR. JK-06)
Originally Mary Street School, Kimberley Junior Public School is situated at the corner of Main and Swanwick Streets in East Toronto. October 18th, 1997 marked the school's centennial celebration. We are a small community school that promotes caring for, and support of, all individuals in our "family". Kimberley shares its facilities with Beaches Alternative School, which has four first-floor classrooms. The present building is comprised of two floors with a gym/auditorium which is shared by both schools. We also have two portables which are used by teachers as they need extra space. We have an expanded Gym and a new Library Resource Centre.
