Artists for the Rockies

We are a small group of concerned citizens looking to raise funds to help the Livingstone Landowners Group (LLG) with their initiatives to support and protect the Eastern Slopes from coal mine development. Some of these efforts include hiring legal and expert witnesses for mine hearings, as well as public engagement campaigns. Livingstone Landowners Group is a volunteer organization of 150 ranchers, landowners, and their supporters focused on sustainable land stewardship in SW Alberta. All fundraising goes directly towards initiatives with no administration costs.

"Artists for the Rockies" is a grassroots organization formed to assist the Livingstone Landowners Group in the battle to stop coal mining on the eastern slopes of Alberta. Artists from across western Canada have donated their art to this auction to help provide funding for lawyers, experts, and surveys of Albertans regarding their views concerning coal mining.
