Legacy Farms Deep Roots Silent Auction

Legacy Farms Annual Fall Brunch is our biggest fundraiser of the year and will take place on Sunday, October 13, at the beautiful Lightfoot Restaurant in Leesburg!

This keystone event supports Legacy Farms’ mission to provide vocational training and job opportunities for neurodivergent apprentices in our community by raising funds for our Deep Roots growth initiative.

This initiative is focused on expanding garden spaces, renovating specialized facilities, and launching year-round programming to provide increased work opportunities via our innovative vocational model.

Legacy Farms is a 501c3 nonprofit established in 2012. We work alongside neurodivergent individuals to grow employment skills and confidence in the workplace, in college, and in life. We offer custom-designed apprenticeships in our gardens and on related entrepreneurial projects, as well as staff, committee, and Board appointments.

At Legacy Farms, we are a fully integrated team. Our staff is a neurodiverse group of mentors, apprentices, community members and volunteers, all working together to deliver our distinctive products to local businesses, markets, and customers.

Hiring neurodivergent individuals offers many benefits, and we serve as a model for addressing the unacceptably high levels of unemployment among this population. Our nonprofit and floral business showcase the unique talents that neurodivergent workers bring to the table.
