As proud Americans, we each feel that “American Emotion” overtake us when we pledge our allegiance and give honor to our great servicemen and women. Chills prickle over our skin when the unwavering words are sung in our National Anthem, our eyes become glossy with tears of emotion as Old Glory boldly waves her Stars and Stripes in the fierce wind, carrying the promise of Freedom to all, and the “take your breath away” moment when fighter jets scream their allegiance through the skies. This is the “American Emotion” that makes us beam with pride, knowing it is only by the grace of God and the heroic sacrifice of our men and women that keep us FREE.
