Lucky Duck Swim Scholarship

The Lucky Duck Swim Scholarship Program is operated by the Swim Lesson People and helps to provide free or discounted swim lessons for families in Parker County. Over the past 2 years, the Swim Lesson People and our partners have helped to provide swim scholarships to more than 50 families. That's over $10,000 in scholarships that have been awarded back to our community.

13 school buses full of children die each year from drowning in the United States. It’s the silent epidemic that no one is talking about. The absolute blessing here is that drowning is preventable. Through pooling our resources and connecting underserved children with providers who can help educate families how to keep their children safe and who can give children the ability to save their own lives through learning to swim, community by community, we can reverse the tide of child drownings worldwide. Help us end childhood drowning by donating to help teach a child in need. Children who learn to swim at a young age, not only are able to save their own life, but are reaching developmental milestones earlier than the norm.
