Lynnsie's Run for SAC Brant Early Bird Auction

This Early Bird auction is an opportunity for you to bid on some of the incredible items that have been donated for SAC Brant's 2017 annual fundraiser!!

On Sunday May 28, 2017, The Sexual Assault Centre of Brant will hold our fourth annual fundraising run and silent auction. The funds raised at the 2016 SAC Run helped to provide over 1500 hours of service, accompaniment, and advocacy to survivors of sexual violence in our community at no cost to them and with no waiting list.

This year the SAC Run has been renamed “Lynnsie’s Run” in memory of beloved Centre Sister Lynnsie Feijo, who died suddenly on June 30, 2016. Many of you will remember Lynnz as the Centre’s first public educator and then president of the board. Given Lynnz' love of running, we could think of no better way to celebrate her life and her dedication to creating Healing and Change in our community.

The Sexual Assault Centre of Brant has a mission: To provide services that promote healing for survivors of sexual violence and create social change through advocacy, education, and collaboration.

A staggering 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men will experience sexual abuse in their lifetime. SAC Brant supports survivors of sexual violence with a 24 hour crisis and support line, counselling, accompaniment, and advocacy, and public education and community events.
