Annual Fall Fundraiser

The purpose of our fall fundraiser online auction is to raise money to support our Restorative Justice programming. Monies raised will go towards providing restorative responses to crime and conflict on the North Shore and towards sustaining our Restorative Justice in Education programming.

The North Shore Restorative Justice Society is about to celebrate its 25th anniversary and, in 2021 alone, the organization supported over 330 victims and offenders to follow a peaceful, more restorative solution to the traditional court system. This resulted in less hours spent by our Police officers and RCMP in court proceedings and also less cost and harm related to repeat offending (which research has proven occurs less when a restorative justice approach to crime is followed). They also worked with hundreds of students in North Shore schools through weekly 'circles', youth justice labs and other community based initiatives that teach them how to deal with and prevent conflict in relationships.
