Northeast Woodland's 5th Annual Virtual Auction

We are thrilled to be in our fifth year as a public, Waldorf-based New Hampshire Charter School. As you may know, New Hampshire charter schools must fundraise to have enough revenue to provide the education envisioned in their mission. All proceeds raised during the auction will go directly towards our annual fund. This means, when you contribute to our auction, you are helping fund critical aspects of our students' educational programming such as highly trained staff, quality curriculum materials, and the gear and fees associated with our one-of-a-kind Outdoor Education program.

BIDDING TIPS for our auction platform:

*Did you bid on an item that had MULTIPLE OFFERINGS ? Many of our donors generously provided multiples of the same donation. If you were outbid on one of these donations, there may be a duplicate with a lower next bid. Look for the "1 of 2" in the subtitle.

*Prefer to have your bids ANONYMOUS ? Select ‘Your Account’, ‘Edit Account’, and enter a new 'display name’. Bidders can view display names, bid amounts, and bid types (proxy or exact amount).

*LOOK UP to the top of this section, there is a header that says “all Items” with a drop down menu to help you find categories of the auction.

* Set a PROXY BID, a way for the system to bid for you up to the max amount that you are willing to pay for an item. If you are outbid, the system will automatically bid the next increment for you until your maximum bid is reached.

*You are able to purchase as many “FIXED PRICE” items as you like up to the number that are available for sale. When you go to buy these items, there will be a dropdown QUANTITY to select from.

*Don’t see anything you would like to bid on, yet still would like to support us? Look for the Green 'DONATE' BUTTON on the upper right of your screen.

Now in our fifth year, Northeast Woodland Chartered Public School provides a unique educational opportunity to the families of the Mount Washington Valley. We are a Waldorf-based school with a comprehensive Outdoor Education program for grades PreK - 8. Our students partake in place-based curriculum work and field trips. We also offer:

-Foreign language instruction starting in grade 1
-Art woven throughout the curriculum
-Significant time spent outside in every season, rain or shine - pretending, playing and learning in nature
-The Common Core Standards brought to students at developmentally appropriate stages through the ‘Heads, Hands and Hearts’ approach of Waldorf education

New Hampshire charter schools receive no local tax dollars and limited state funding, which falls well short of the average per-pupil cost in the state. Auction proceeds are a key component of meeting our school’s budgeted annual fundraising goal. All funds raised will be put directly toward our Waldorf curriculum, Outdoor Educational programming, and operating costs.
