Off-Beat Players Summer Kickoff Silent Auction

Help Off-Beat Players cover its annual production costs in order to provide performance opportunities for young adults with and without developmental disabilities. Your contribution to our silent auction will directly benefit over 50 young adults from greater Fairfield County served by the organization each year. Off-Beat Players is a non-profit theater group for young adults with and without special needs. It provides an opportunity for young people of all backgrounds and abilities to work together to learn from one another and to benefit from participation in a performing arts program. Young people gain an appreciation and respect for one another and their contributions to the company.

The program develops life skills, instills confidence, uncovers hidden talents and affords every participant the opportunity to experience success in the performing arts. It is our hope that through their interactions, young people will develop an appreciation of one another’s abilities as well as a sensitivity to their disabilities. These experiences will allow them to embrace the inclusion of all ability levels into a celebration of differences in their future life endeavors.
