Ongoing Care For Orphans

Through this project, two registered orphanages in Uganda will increase their ability to support children in their care. During the CV19 lockdown and continuing restrictions, much-needed funds and the odd jobs that staff had been able to pick up to feed the children, reduced dramatically. Oftentimes food was rationed to a single meal a day.

$US 4,000 will allow "His Grace Alpha and Omega Orphanage" and "Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries" to increase sustainability. For "His Grace Alpha and Omega Orphanage" this includes securing a piece of land to grow crops for food. For "Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries," it includes permanent infrastructure to help reduce overheads.

The orphanages are working with an American online auction site, that has fundraised with high profile organisations since its establishment in 2006. The American online auction site has kindly provided goods on consignment for this auction. We sincere thank them for their generous support.

The two orphanages, "Jesus and Me Children’s Ministries" and "His Grace Alpha and Omega Orphanage" are Christian-based organisations. Their goals are to reunite families, keep children off the streets, and provide care to children in dire circumstances. They also provide education to other children in their community and counselling to families.
