About Our Auction
Pacific Immigrant Resources Society is running this auction to raise funds for our trauma-informed programs, which support immigrant and refugee women and their children as they settle down into Canada. Your generous donation will help women with young children get access to language programs, childcare, and a sense of community and belonging.
About Pacific Immigrant Resources Society
The Pacific Immigrant Resources Society (PIRS) has over 45 years of experience working with immigrant and refugee women and children in the Greater Vancouver area, and a strong track record of delivering high-impact programs. We support a diverse population of women and children, including single immigrant and refugee mothers, women fleeing violence, women with disabilities, and women with mental and/or physical health conditions.
PIRS aims to empower immigrant and refugee women and children through community-based, accessible, and inclusive programs. Our vision is a society that values the diverse contributions of immigrants and refugees and promotes the enrichment of their lives.
Our programs and services are accessible to all women without fees, and use an integrated, trauma-informed approach to supporting newcomer women and children by addressing their identified needs and working with them to learn and address their unexpressed needs.
