PLWA 2021 Auction for Access

Proceeds from PLWA's 2021 Annual Meeting Auction will go towards supporting our mission of maintaining, restoring, and perpetuating public access to the boundaries of all Montana’s public lands and waters.

Help us put as much money towards protecting public access by picking up items or bidding locally, or being understanding that it may take a week or two for us to get things out your way. The closer the places we have to send items are, the more of what we raise goes towards protecting access to the places you play and work.

PLWA has been protecting public access in Montana since 1985. We work every day to make sure access to your public lands and waters is safe for tomorrow. The mission of PLWA is to maintain, restore, and perpetuate public access to the boundaries of all Montana’s public lands and waters. We do this by:

Educating and informing the public about their ownership and access rights.

Monitoring public access routes and identifying access problems.

Initiating legal action when access has been illegally blocked.

Monitoring public land sales exchanges and purchases to insure that no transfers are made without full consideration of conservation and recreational values.

Initiating programs and policies to expand public land and water access.

Pursuing every legal and ethical avenue to protect and maintain your access to your public lands and waters.
