2nd Annual Rescue Regatta 2024 Auction

To kickoff the 2nd Annual Rescue Regatta, we are excited to open this online auction event to raise funds for the Rescue Squad. Bid on an exciting array of items donated by our community of business leaders and friends.

The money raised will help us purchase critical medical equipment. For instance: A power load stretcher costs $25,000. A heart monitor costs $39,400. The power lift in the ambulance is $35,700. A new ambulance, without equipment, costs $356,700. It will also help us support the new Urbanna station house and to continue staff education for the good of our Middle Peninsula neighbors.

Since 1956, the MCVRS has had the privilege of providing life-saving emergency medical care to our community and surrounding counties. Not only are we one of oldest volunteer Rescue Squads on the Middle Peninsula, but we are an anchor tenant. We open our doors of the Deltaville station house for civic purposes, we perform regular community outreach, we offer training and more.

The MCVRS heartbeat is not a given, thus prompting our search for new fund-raising avenues. In Spring of 2023, Fishing Bay Yacht Club, Safe Harbor Stingray Point and Stingray Harbour Yacht Club joined with the MCVRS to host the 1st Annual Rescue Regatta.
