South Bay Bird Society Holiday Auction 2024

This Online Auction features an assortment of parrot-themed items and holiday gift ideas thanks to our sponsor and member donations. You will find many bird-themed items including: books, art, sponsor and retail gift certificates, bird toys, bird cages, bird food, bird stands and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Also included are items of clothing, jewelry, art supplies, puzzles, housewares and more. With over 100 items in our auction, there are likely to be items that you, your parrots or others must have. Because of the large variety of choices, make sure you view all of them by clicking on every of the pages when browsing. You will want to monitor your bidding to be able to win your selections with the highest bid.

Our goal for this year’s fundraiser and auction is $5,000.00 and above which will help replenish our general operating fund and our activity and outreach programs. These expenses include: providing updates on SBBS activities through our flyers and with our updated website. Also, our funding provides hybrid and in-person avian-related speaker meetings, community outreach activities and making charitable donations to bird and nature-related non-profits.

As a registered 501(c)3 Public Benefit Corporation, the mission of the South Bay Bird Society is to educate the public, members and prospective new owners in all aspects of avian care. See our mission statement below.

All proceeds raised from this fundraiser will go directly to support SBBS programs, outreach activities and charitable donations. Our major focus is to promote the welfare of all birds and companion bird owners. During this next year, SBBS will focus on expanding our messaage to other bird owners to improve the care of more birds by utilizing social media.

The mission of South Bay Bird Society is to study all avian species (native and foreign) and their habitats; to disseminate among the general public and supporting members, information on all aspects of avian care and breeding, and the preservation of endangered species and their habitats through written publications, educational lectures, seminars, activities, and to support and promote the propagation and preservation of species that are threatened by extinction.
