About Our Auction
SCRIPT offers free community intervention training related to the integration of efforts from multiple agencies and organizations, in support of public needs for mental health care, crisis intervention, and
supportive services in the Los Angeles area. Our goals are to raise awareness of community needs regarding intervention and to improve relationships between government, social services, and community-based
institutions. Moreover, we aim to decrease social-stressors and increase overall life satisfaction throughout communities by teaching people to recognize mental illness and other compassionate needs within the
population. SCRIPT attendees are a diverse group of people who are interested in working together to support the community and learn intervention strategies. SCRIPT invites social welfare workers, law
enforcement, advocacy professionals, academicians, and consumers to present and take part in the trainings.
About SCRIPT Conference 2019
In 2015, Psycharts, Inc. in partnership with PCITI presented the first annual Summit on Community Resiliency, Intervention, Prevention and Training (SCRIPT). SCRIPT is an annual conference that is offered free to the public. It provides an opportunity for professionals and community members to come together to address social issues on a local level. The first SCRIPT emphasized caring for male survivors of abuse and trauma. The response from attendees was so overwhelming that conference directors felt compelled to keep the male survivor focus going forward. To date over 400 people have received training through SCRIPT in areas that include gang intervention, crime prevention, the treatment and prevention of child abuse, and more.
