About Our Auction
Proceeds from the Mardi Gras will support:
• Children and families coming to Sisters for emergency needs such as food, shelter, and safety; children in cities and in mission areas who are seeking education to break their cycle of poverty; hospice patients and abused victims receiving support from Sisters
• a new call light system at St. Francis Home that will help residents get immediate responses to their needs
• Veterans and First Responders with programs to deal with and heal from traumatic incidents in their life-saving work as well as bedroom improvements and room upgrades for St. Francis Spirituality Center’s participants seeking healing in their lives
• Individuals with developmental disabilities to participate in horticultural work/study programs, scholarships for youth for Science Day and Camp programs, and family-friendly events that are free and open to the community at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center.
Our goal this year is $30,000.

The Sisters of St. Francis live the Gospel mission of concern for those who are poor, care of creation, peacemaking, and contemplative action through their sponsored ministries: Franciscan Earth Literacy Center’s hands-on environmental education; St. Francis Spirituality Center’s oasis for healing, reconciliation and renewal; and in Cuernavaca, Mexico; Booneville, Kentucky; and various locations in Ohio where Sisters serve. St. Francis Senior Ministries exists to create a community where each individual can live life fully.
