About Our Auction
Science on the Fly is absolutely rocking it! We've gone from a handful of volunteers and rivers a year ago to over 100 volunteers and 300 monthly water quality sampling sites now. Though we run a remarkably lean organization, sustaining this remarkable level of sampling still takes substantial funding, about $360,000 per year. And continued growth toward our goal of global coverage takes more.
Our goal for our first ever auction and online fundraiser is to raise $25,000. Thank you for helping us to reach this goal. Good luck and enjoy the remarkable selection of items in the auction, while at the same time supporting Science on the Fly!

About Science on the Fly
Science on the Fly (SOTF) seeks to further our understanding of changing watersheds around the world through long-term, world-class river science. With a growing list of partners and supporters, we aim to bridge the gap between science and public policy and to activate and inspire a broad community of river stewards to take ownership of that process.
Science on the Fly is a project out of Woodwell Climate Research Center, a non-profit with top researchers leading the charge on climate science data collection, understanding climate change, and creating an impact on climate change policies. We are also partnered with Fishpond, a sustainable fly-fishing bag company.
