Salt Ponds Coalition: 2023 Annual Auction

Every year, SPC has to raise money in order to accomplish its mission. Water quality testing alone costs over $20,000 per year! The Salt Ponds Coalition is the only organization in RI whose sole mission it is to protect this amazing water resource. We cannot do what we do without your support! Currently we are working to expand our educational programming, improve the way we present our water quality data to the public, and partnering with local municipalities to improve water quality and pond habitats.

Join us for an unforgettable summer soirée that celebrates the vibrant spirit of Rhode Island's salt ponds! The Salt Ponds Coalition cordially invites you to an exclusive event at the newly rebuilt Weekapaug Yacht Club, nestled along the shores of tranquil Quonochontaug Pond.

It's an evening of joy, conservation, and giving back, all rolled into one unforgettable experience. The online auction will culminate in this event.

The Salt Ponds Coalition (SPC) has been protecting the coastal ponds of South County Rhode Island since 1985. These ponds have been a vital part of the south county community for generations. SPC has been testing the quality of the water for over 35 years, and working to keep the ponds healthy for both the animals and people that enjoy them. SPC works with partners to enhance the ponds, and hosts free public programming for children and adults. We are almost completely member funded, so every dollar we raise helps us to complete our mission!
