Salt Ponds Coalition: 2024 Annual Auction

Every year, SPC has to raise money in order to accomplish its mission. Water quality testing alone costs over $20,000 per year! The Salt Ponds Coalition is the only organization in RI whose sole mission it is to protect this amazing water resource. We cannot do what we do without your support! Currently we are working to expand our educational programming, improve the way we present our water quality data to the public, and partnering with local municipalities to improve water quality and pond habitats.

Our annual auction helps to raise these funds. This hybrid in-person and digital event features an online silent auction starting July 8. On July 11 from 6:00-8:30 PM, join us for an in-person unforgettable summer soirée and silent auction that celebrates the vibrant spirit of Rhode Island's salt ponds! The Salt Ponds Coalition cordially invites you to the 2024 Coastal Social at the Kinney Bungalow.

It's an evening of joy, conservation, and giving back, all rolled into one unforgettable experience.

The Salt Ponds Coalition (SPC) has been protecting the coastal ponds of South County Rhode Island since 1985. These ponds have been a vital part of the south county community for generations. SPC has been testing the quality of the water for over 35 years, and working to keep the ponds healthy for both the animals and people that enjoy them. SPC works with partners to enhance the ponds, and hosts free public programming for children and adults. We are almost completely member funded, so every dollar we raise helps us to complete our mission!
