A PLACE TO LEARN & GROW

Play-based since 1970, Sequoia Parents Nursery School has provided a small cooperative preschool for children ages 16 months through 6. Under the guidance of experienced teachers, parents participate in operating this non-profit school for the benefit of their young children.

Located in the heart of San Carlos, SPNS is a vibrant community where children, parents, and teachers are fully involved in an interactive process of learning and growing together. The school provides enriching preschool programs, daytime parent education meetings, community events, and field trips. SPNS curriculum is designed around the premise that play is the work of children, and it is through play that children learn and grow.
