Paws for a Cause

Paws for a Cause is our online auction to raise funds for our work. With the upcoming holidays, a purchase during our auction offers a gift that gives twice, once to a recipient, and also to the care of our shelter animals.

Our organization is the only full-service, no-kill animal welfare organization serving the needs of Schuyler County communities since 1987.

The need to raise funds for the animals in our care is constant, but this year we have seen an unprecedented, exponential rise in the number of dogs and cats coming into our shelter. Funds from the online auction will go directly to care, shelter, and veterinary services, including spay and neuter programs, for the homeless animals in our care.

The Humane Society of Schuyler County has been advancing animal welfare since 1987. A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, the organization provides companion animal sheltering and adoption, offers low-cost spay/neuter services and serves as a resource for the residents and pets of the community.
