About Shock the Vote ATX
Mission: For 2020, the mission of Shock the Vote is three-tiered. Our team aims to:
Empower, educate, and increase voter participation for the 2020 Election.
Curate a slate of virtual activities and events for the month of October through Election Tuesday that support Austin businesses and organizations.
Support a healthy environment for the Austin community as we all navigate this evolving landscape to combat Covid-19.
Key Goals:
Inspire the Austin community to be part of the civic engagement process and increase voter turnout
Provide educational resources for the Austin community as they make voting choices in their decision-making process.
Support Austin businesses as they navigate the Covid-19 landscape and transition to digital event spaces.
Provide a safe and festive lineup of fall events for the Austin community.
