Summer Fair Silent Auction 2024

It's that time again, and the Summer Fair is here. This year, many of our offerings are experiences that focus on enjoying and appreciating our beautiful Southcoast area—sailing lessons on the Westport River, offerings from our local farms, and, of course, works of art from our local artists. There are so many examples of their talent and generosity: original paintings, signed and numbered prints, crafts, blown glass, quilts, and baskets.
And then there are the food offerings: baskets of coffee, baskets of wine, and, of course, lobsters.
The Silent Auction will open online and in person on Friday, July 12th, at 4:30 p.m., with a Preview Party featuring summer wines and hors d'oeuvres in the auction room. It will remain open until Friday, July 19th, at 6:00 p.m.

The auction items will remain on view in the Sunday School room (where the Little Peeps Montessori School is located during the school year) at the rear of the Church Office building on:
- Friday, July 12, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13th from 9:00 - 3:00 pm
- Monday, July 15th - Friday, July 19th from 10:00 am - 2 pm each day.

The United Congregational Church of Little Compton is a beautiful and vibrant New England church. The church serves a congregation that is steeped in the traditions and wisdom of a rich 300-year history, but is also thriving with the energy of a relevant and dynamic faith. This is truly a special place where all people are welcome: young and aged, believers or seekers, locals and transplants, from every walk of life, background, and pattern of family.

The church supports a number of organizations and ministries both locally and globally. Many church members do mission work in a variety of these settings as well as in global mission work. The church also sponsors several local service events each year.
