2024 Silent Auction to raise funds for Tallgrass

We are requesting funds to be used for the educational activities that we provide free for the Kansas community and the larger national community when they visit at the festival in Wichita, Kansas. This includes our year-round film alliance to support local filmmakers, our summer free programming to support students ages 13-18 years old to our free panels during our annual film festival to keep industry practices up to date. This takes staff and a year-round venue for these educational resources. We ask for your support to pay for this to remain free for Wichita.

Tallgrass Film Association entertains, educates, and inspires audiences in the Wichita community and beyond by showcasing the best of independent films from around the world through an annual 5-day film festival, year-round special screenings, filmmaking competitions and filmmaker labs. We strive to preserve the cultural tradition of film as a communal adventure. Movies bring us together: they entertain, spark conversation, build community and forge new relationships.
