Art & Basket Extravaganza for Team RMA for LLS

Art and baskets for fundraising benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and funds leading-edge research for every type of blood cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other rare types of blood cancers. As the largest nonprofit funder of cutting-edge blood cancer research to advance cures, LLS has invested nearly $1.3 billion in cancer research since we started in 1949, leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients.

LLS helped advance 60 of the 71 blood cancer treatment options approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration since 2017.

The Art and Basket Extravaganza is a fundraiser brought to you by TEAM RMA. We have committed to raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Delaware, to insure research continues to be funded to find a cure for all blood cancer. Our team has come together to support Cecile Roth, in her efforts to be a top fundraiser for LLS and become the ALL STAR WOMAN OF THE YEAR. Ceil is leading this cause to honor the memory of Robert Mark Ackerman, her son who passed from Leukemia 25 years ago, and everyone fighting to survive leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. She, herself, was diagnosed with Leukemia 6 years ago and is living with it, and she is blessed to be symptom free.

The items in this auction were carefully curated to bring an experience to the winning bidder. Some items are new and exciting, such as the iPad raffle, and over $2,200 in gift cards. There are almost 100 items to enjoy and bid on. Some items, such as the Art work, are gently used and previously owned pieces. All of the starting bids are very friendly.

In addition to the iPad raffle and bidding for various lots, everyone is also invited to simply make a donation. In this regard, LLS Delaware selected Ryan Dotson and Teagan Kniefl as the Delaware boy and girl of the year for 2021; they are our inspiration and keep us focused on our fundraising goal.
