WAG's SpringFling Online Auction

This year we are looking to raise funds for our upcoming Wellness Clinics and our FANS Program (low cost spay and neuter). These programs help provide necessary medical care for animals in need in surrounding first nations and remote communities. At WAG, we believe that spaying and neutering is the most proactive measure in combating animal homelessness and alleviating suffering.

The clinics play a vital role in our shared goal of reducing the stray animal population in the Lil'wat Nation and neighboring remote communities, reducing animal suffering and positively impacting the local health and safety of the animals and human residents.

We offer a low-cost spay and neuter program for low-income families needing assistance, this program helps reduce the number of unwanted litters while also allowing families to keep their animals rather than having to surrender or to continue having litters. Our wellness clinics and low-cost spay and neuter programs are aimed towards assisting families and animals to stay together. In 2023 this program helped 25 animals have spay and neuter surgeries!

WAG is non-profit and registered charity that cares for and re-homes many cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens each year.

WAG strives to maintain an extremely high standard of care for our animals. We pride ourselves on providing the best training, enrichment, and medical care to our animals, while they wait to find their Forever Homes. We are advocates of Positive Reinforcement Training techniques and strive to educate the public about animal welfare.
