About Our Auction
Authors and bookish businesses alike have come together to donate their books, products, and services in the name of raising funds to help rebuild Western N.C.
Although we are using this website, we will not be directly collecting money from anyone. Once the auction has ended, we will instruct winners to provide a donation directly to a charity from our list. Once we receive proof of a donation in the form of a receipt or screen shot from the donation confirmation page we will collect necessary shipping info from the winner so the donor can ship out their gift. Please make sure your proof of donation includes the amount donated so we can ensure you donated the correct bidded amount.
Donations will be made directly to the organizations. Once the auction has ended, please wait for emailed instructions from us before donating.
The auction will begin on Friday, Oct 18th at 1pm EST and will run until Sunday, Oct 20th at 11:30pm EST.
We have 300 prizes available that include ebooks, special edition books, out of print books, author services, handmade items, tickets to bookish events, and more!
Navigating the website: You are able to search through prizes via category (book, ebook, event, gift card, merch, service). When you first land on the page, you can click where it says “All Items” at the top of the page to pull down the list. You can also search by the type of shipping (US Only, US & Canada, International, or N/A). If you are outside of the US it will be helpful to look through items this way. You can also use the search feature to search for a specific author or business. If someone outbids you on an item you will receive an email.
