This is a fundraiser in support of our Dream Programs and local outreach.

Every year Soroptimist International of Ramona works together with other Soroptimist clubs to provide monetary assistance and/or support for our Dream Programs (Live Your Dream & Dream It, Be It).

The Live Your Dream Awards provide monetary assistance to women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families. It is the cornerstone program of Soroptimist International of the Americas, LiveYourDream.org's sponsoring organization.

Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls gives girls the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, empowering them to break cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse. Soroptimist clubs work in partnership with girls in small groups or a conference setting to provide them with the information and resources they want and need to be successful.

Ramona Soroptimist Club Local Impact: Soroptimist International of Ramona also continues providing local support to our community through scholarships to our graduating seniors and our Adopt a Mom program where we help support a local mom and her family during the holidays.

All funds will be going to support these programs, and help our club provide more support to women and girls in our local community.

Soroptimist was formed in 1921 in Oakland, California, at a time when women were not permitted to join service organizations. Our name, loosely translated from the Latin, means best for women. Today, we have about 160,000 members and supporters in 21 countries and territories. We are apart of one of four federations that make up Soroptimist International, which has clubs in more than 120 countries throughout the world.

The Ramona Club was founded in 1980 and since has strived to up hold the Soroptimist Mission, through participation and organization of community service, events, and participating in our Dream Programs and local scholarships. To find out more please visit our website.
