Woodland Playhouse 2024 Silent Auction Fundraiser

This year we are fundraising to purchase outdoor rain gear for all the students in our program to use! These are essential to blending the indoors and outdoors, making learning outdoors as accessible as possible, and extending our time outside during less desirable weather.

We have finally secured a place in the town of Shandaken just a half mile from our current location and we are so excited to break ground! Amid our excitement is some nervousness - we'll need to not only do all the things necessary to build a beautiful building, parking area, driveway, and outdoor play yards, but we'll need to fill that building with new materials...particularly the toddler classroom, for which we have very little now! Any funds remaining after purchasing outdoor gear for our students from the silent auction this year will go towards making this new build magical - complete with two preschool classrooms and a toddler classroom for September-June, expansion of our after school activities and before/after care for school aged kiddos, and a wide variety of exciting options for summer camps for children aged 2-12. Woodland Playhouse is a small, play-based, and primarily outdoor early education program for children aged 3-5 during the school year and children aged 2-12 during July and August. We are nestled in the heart of The Catskills and use our location the the fullest! Woodland Playhouse has been supporting children in their youngest years since 2007.
