In the context of innovative and creative artistic action, the great international painter leads the important campaign that involves rescuing Municipal history The School Of Kato Ampelokipoi, Greece. It is worth noting that the elementary school Lower Ampelokipon was established under Royal Decree in 1921 and its construction dates from the 1932-34 biennium.Based on standard architectural drawing monotaxioy rural schooling facilities beginning in early 1920 the architectural Office of the then Ministry of Ecclesiastical and public education. The school was opened in September 1935 and in October 1941, in the midst of occupation, by decision of the provincial Committee, of the IPU,Pilia was the headquarters of the national resistance of South Messinia, due to its particular geographic location of the settlement. So, for the time 1941-44 was the seat of the race and of the Councils of the administrative services of national resistance, doing so a work history in the struggle for freedom. Today, in an effort to rescue the iconic building, the Modern Monuments Service and technical projects of the Peloponnese and the Southern Ionian Sea of the Ministry of Culture has start the required procedures for designating the building as "a newly listed Heritage Monument."
