About Our Auction
Through the power of art, Designs for Dignity (D4D) is building an effort to bring greater attention to the ideals of equity, inclusion, empathy and empowerment. Art for Dignity is a demonstration of support for racial justice and social responsibility presented through art and visual expression. Our River North neighbors and business owners with boarded windows are invited to participate and partner with Chicago-area artists to bring this vision to life. United in action and purpose, Art for Dignity serves as a stand for solidarity and the sense of community we all share.
The boards being auctioned off as a part of Design for Dignity's 20th anniversary celebration! The proceeds from the board auctions will benefit Designs for Dignity, My Block, My Hood, My City, as well as the individual artists.
