City Without Orphans Fall Fundraiser

City Without Orphans was founded 13 years ago with the desire to generate community mobilization toward the care of children and young adults impacted by foster care and adoption in the Central Valley. The vision of our organization is to be known for caring for our city’s most vulnerable population.

Our youth space, The Landing is a drop in center for youth ages 16-24 who have experienced foster care, adoption or out-of-home placement. In this space we offer many services such as life-skill classes, therapeutic support, tangible goods, themed events and field trips. Funds raised with this auction will be used to sustain and grow the programs we offer for teens and young adults.

We are the only center operating in this capacity for current and former foster youth and adoptees in our community and the need is great! We need your support in order to continue offering these critical services.

City Without Orphans exists to bridge the need of the foster and adoptive community with tangible resources within our city. Most recently, we helped launch a drop-in center within the Landing. This space has many resources run by CWO for youth and young adults who qualify for our services. In this space youth and young adults are able to come from 11am-5pm to receive goods, study at a computer lab, meet with mentors and peers for coffee. After hours they can take a cooking class in their very own kitchen space, they offer educational tools for development and personal growth through classes.
