About Our Auction
Place your bids on tons of unique artworks which will be up for auction October 29 - Nov 8 as part of a special, two-week fundraiser for the Cowichan Valley Arts Council.
The name for the show stems from the fact that each of the locally-produced original artworks is only 6x6x6 inches. In addition to paintings, the show includes some sculpture, mixed media and other unique works.
Online bidding will open at 9:00 AM on October 29 with bids starting at $50. All original works can be viewed in person at the CVAC Gallery from October 29 – Nov 8 during regular gallery hours. The CVAC Gallery is located on the Main Floor at 2687 James Street in Duncan, BC.
The auction will culminate in a Gala event on the evening of November 9, 2024, also at the CVAC Gallery. Join us for refreshments, live music and the final bidding flurry.

The proceeds from the Six By Six Art Auction & Gala will be used to expand CVAC’s youth programs and bring select regional shows to the Gallery.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Online bidding for the Six By Six Art Auction will close at 10 PM on November 8. The auction will resume on November 9 for in-person only bidding at the Six By Six Gala. Starting bids at the Gala will reflect closing bids from the online auction. Virtual bidders who have leading bids at the closure of the online auction at 10 PM, will only win the corresponding auction lot(s) if they are not subsequently outbid in-person at the Gala. If virtual bidders wish to secure auction lots against in-person Gala bids, they can select the BUY NOW option at any point before the online auction closes. If an item reaches or exceeds the BUY NOW price, the BUY NOW option will no longer be available for that item.
