Welcome to the online auction portion of "For the Record: Changing D.C." The auction will begin on Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. after we reveal this year's winners. The Collection Committee of the Historical Society will select up to 5 works that will become a permanent part of the collections; the remaining art will be available for the auction between April 14 - May 26, 2016.
For the Record provides exposure, recognition, and enduring prestige to local artists, and raises funds to support the Historical Society. #FortheRecordDC. Proceeds from the sale of all original artwork support the collections at the Historical Society of Washington, D.C.

Live Event Information
The Live Auction will begin on May 26, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. and will close at 7:45 p.m. The auction will be held at the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. headquarters in the Washington Public Library (Carnegie building) on Mt. Vernon Square in downtown DC.
