Free the Eel

Celebrate the expiration of PG&E's 50-year license for the Eel River dams and the last week of Earth Month by supporting our virtual auction.

All proceeds will fund Friends of the Eel River's work protecting the Eel River and its fisheries, and of course undamming the Eel.

Friends of the Eel River is dedicated to recovery for the Wild and Scenic Eel River, its fisheries, and communities. Among several other key projects, our staff are honored to serve a vital role in efforts to remove the Eel River dams and restore fish passage to the pristine Eel River headwaters.

We are so thankful to the incredible community of volunteers, donors, and local businesses who have supported our work for decades. Our work, and our victories for the watershed, would not be possible without you.
