The Movement Imprinted: Moments in the Movement
The artwork created in the exhibit was created by UMD Graphic Design students. The printing was provided by our generous sponsor, The UMD VizLab. 50% or more of proceeds will go towards the Duluth NAACP. Bidding ends on Friday, February 22, 6:30pm at the Freedom Fund Dinner.
This exhibit is the outcome of UMD Assistant Professor Terresa Moses' assignment “The Movement Imprinted: Moments in the Movement,” in which Moses asks her students to create pieces based on the African-American experience, and she specified that their design should emulate an African-American graphic designer. Along with the posters, the winning bid will also receive a designed booklet that details information about the song, musician, designer, and the student's progress.
