About Our Auction

The Department of Art and Design is hosting an art exhibit and silent auction of faculty artwork from October 26th - November 13th. The silent auction opens Wednesday, November 4th at 8 a.m. Proceeds received from this auction will support student scholarships for those studying art and design.

The Department of Art and Design at George Fox University is committed to creating a community that emphasizes the diversity of God’s kingdom, cares for and nurtures the many perspectives reflected in our student body, and uses visual communication as a conduit for conversation, celebration, and the examination of contemporary social issues.

Our goal is that this scholarship will work to remove some financial hardship or barrier for Art and Design students, so that access to a rigorous, high-quality, nurturing, and professional Christian art and design education is available to more students.

This exhibit contains a variety of media such as paintings, photography, printmaking, illustration, ceramics, and design. Artists in this exhibit include Gary Buhler, Jeff Cameron, Douglas Campbell, Burkhardt Kliebler, Adam Long, Tessa Sargent, Jillian Sokso, Mark Terry, Tim Timmerman, Seth Van Der Eems, and Brandon Waybright.

More information regarding the bidding process:

The silent auction opens at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4th and will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 13th.
