About Our Auction

Thank you for participating in Fleming College’s Haliburton School of Art + Design Online Faculty Art Auction, where we are featuring unique works of art and craft, created and generously donated by faculty who teach in our Haliburton summer school and full-time programs.
Through the purchase of original work of art, this event is your opportunity to help us raise funds in support of innovative initiatives and much needed financial bursaries for Fleming Haliburton students who may not otherwise be able to attend our summer and full time programs. A special thanks to our event and online sponsors.
Check in here weekly as new items become available. Auction closes at 8:00 p.m. August 6, 2024. All items will be available for pick up on August 8, 2024 at the Haliburton campus at our cocktail reception from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The shipping default upon purchase is pick-up only however if you are unable to pick up in person on August 8, please contact Sarah Bell at sarah.bell@flemingcollege.ca or 1.866.353.6464 x 6729 to arrange for alternative pick up date or shipping. Shipping costs will vary per item and the purchaser is responsible for the shipping costs.
All winning bids over fair market value will receive a charitable tax receipt for the difference. Donations in support of this project can be made during the auction or at flemingcollege.ca/give and a charitable tax receipt will be issued by Fleming College for the full donation amount.
About Fleming College: Haliburton School of Art + Design
Haliburton School of Art + Design is known for providing unique and flexible programs taught by professionals who have shaped art, craft, design, media and heritage studies in Canada. No other college offers students this breadth of creative programming.
In 1969, the Haliburton School of Fine Arts became part of Sir Sandford Fleming College. In 2004 the campus moved to a new location in Glebe Park on Head Lake in the Village of Haliburton, and today it is known as the Haliburton School of Art + Design. The campus offers full-time 14-week Art Certificates in Artist Blacksmithing, Drawing and Painting, Ceramics, Glassblowing, Jewellery, and Fibre Arts. Students can combine these Certificate programs with a year of foundation credits to obtain a Visual and Creative Arts Diploma.
Haliburton School of Art + Design continues to run its short-duration continuing education arts courses, offering a selection of hundreds of courses year round, open to people of all skill levels.
