#Hunterstrong - a fundraiser for Hunter Weston

This auction is to raise money for Hunter Weston and his cancer treatments along with costs associated. Thank you to ALL who have donated. We couldn't have done this without you!!

Hunter is four years old and is the most courageous fighter I have ever met. Hunter was diagnosed Neuroblastoma on March 26th 2020 (on his beautiful mamas birthday). He has undergone 11 rounds of chemo and countless surgeries to try and stop his aggressive cancer. Hunters tumour was originally found in his belly and it attached itself to his liver and his right kidney. After the 8th round of chemo, the tumour shrunk but it was still active. And then the worst news of all, Hunters team found nodules in his lungs.

Unfortunately Chemo is no longer working for Hunter and it is recommended he try immunotherapy. However, this new treatment comes with a hefty price tag. I am reaching out in the only way I know how to ask for help for this brave boy and his family as Hunter cannot begin treatment without funding for these new medications.

My name is Lainie and I will be your auctioneer on Friday! I've always wanted to learn how so this is a dream come true for me!

The auction goes live Friday at 7:30 PM and will close Friday Feb. 26th at 5 PM.

If you WIN your item - you will be invoiced and required to send an EMT directly to Hunter's family. You then must screen shot proof of funds sent before we release the winning prizes!!

A quick little note about our team!!!! As you know, my name is Lainie -- i am a bereaved mama and I am a professional portrait photographer based out of Otterville, Ontario (we are moving! ) Lainie Hird Photography - Lifestyle and Creative Art and I had the opportunity to take Hunter's portraits last September!!!

I also want to introduce my two other co-administrators Erin Ryckman and Heather Lynn!!!

Erin Ryckman is a business owner in Thamesford, Ontario! She is the brains behind the group as she has tremendous success with her Consignment Shop CWK Consignment!!! We couldn't have done all this posting without her!!!

Heather Lynn is a Cancer Mom herself!!! Her beautiful daughter is a survivor of leukaemia. Heather is our Media support guru, our voice of reasoning when stuff got crazy and again an important piece to this fundraiser.

I personally want to thank BOTH OF THEM for the late nights, the constant group messages and the burning eyeball selfie photos that have been sent from staring at the screens too long.
This auction is to help raise funds for Hunter's immunotherapy treatment as well as help with associated costs. While Jay and Sarah spend precious quality time with their son, they do not need to be working about unexpected medical bills.
