7th Annual Igniting Future Leaders Gala

The 7th Annual Igniting Future Leaders Gala is our largest fundraising event of the year and has raised over $90,000 for our local youth. We're excited for this year's event as we're celebrating 10 years of service!
Our event this year will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 6:00 pm at The Graduate Cincinnati (151 Goodman Drive,
Cincinnati, OH 45219).

Mrs. Tracey Artis, CEO of I Hear Music Inc., is our Gala Event Chair. We are excited to have Courtis Fuller from Let’s Talk Cincy as our event emcee and Vernon Jackson from Noble Barber and Beauty as this year's keynote speaker. This year’s After Five attire event features a dinner, an awards and scholarship ceremony, a silent auction, and live music by Jameze Latrail.

Established in 2014, Guiding Light Mentoring is an organization dedicated to serving youth ages 8–18 in the Greater Cincinnati area by providing positive role models, teaching relationship skills, and helping develop moral character. Since 2014, we have served over 2,000 youth! Our mission is empowering young people to become the next generation of leaders by equipping them with skills and resources to make a positive and lasting impact in their lives. We are committed to supporting young people and making an impact in their lives all at no cost to families. We provide 1:1 community-based mentorship (Youth Education Program) paired with our healthy mind and body (Wellness Program), summer and after-school leadership program and social emotional groups (Leadership Program), tutoring (Academic Enrichment Program) and violence prevention groups (Project E.P.I.C.). Our vision is a community where every young person embraces their potential, learns to overcome obstacles, and contributes to a meaningful impact in the Greater Cincinnati Area.
