Jaguar Arte 2023
These art pieces were donated by the artists, to help fund the general management of the Northern Jaguar Reserve and the Viviendo con Felinos® program in Sahuaripa, Sonora, Mexico. "Libélula", our longest recorded jaguar female, now almost 11 years, as well as "Luisa", "Choki", "Valentina" and the males "Compa", "Don Julio", among others, rely on your generosity to enjoy the safety that the protected region in Sahuaripa can provide to allow them to breed and rebound.
About Northern Jaguar Project, Inc.
The Northern Jaguar Project (NJP) preserves and recovers the world’s northernmost population of the jaguar, its unique natural habitats, and native wildlife under its protection as a flagship, keystone, and umbrella species. We manage the more than 56,000 acre wide Northern Jaguar Reserve in the municipality of Sahuaripa, Sonora, Mexico, as well as the Viviendo con Felinos ® program, that puts additional more than 125,000 acres under a predator-tolerant management, eventhough the productive activities (livestock) continue.
