La Petite Maison Gala

We are excited about our 2nd Annual La Petite Maision Gala & Auction on October 12, 2023 at The Junior League Houston. Since 2001, A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF) has been providing shelter, stability and support to families seeking cancer care in the Texas Medical Center. ASCF was the first organization to provide such services free of charge to families regardless of their age, cancer type, or treatment status and REMAINS the only Houston organization providing this service. To date, ASCF has provided more than 25,000 nights of free housing to cancer patients and their families. Through the funds raised through this Dollhouse and Silent Art Auction, you can help ASCF provide even more!

A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF) provides free tangible support in the Texas Medical Center to families affected by cancer based on their needs, regardless of age, cancer type, treatment status or income.
The tangible support we provide consists of 3 components. Our Free-Short Term Housing provides a private home away from home and peace of mind to out-of-town families seeking cancer care. Our Cancer Family Navigators are volunteers trained to help guide families through the cancer journey. Then we have our celebrations because we are committed to creating opportunities for families to celebrate in the midst of the cancer journey. While patients and their loved ones focus on treatment, our team of volunteers can take care of the little details that create cherished moments.
