About Our Auction
Help us kickoff Fuse Project’s annual fundraising campaign, Light the Fuse: November 3-11, 2022. The goal is to engage the community and raise awareness of our mission through a series of public and private events, a team fundraising challenge, and more.
Fuse Project’s mission is to provide the spark for innovation, funding, and implementation of projects benefiting children along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. In partnership with The Historic Avenue Foundation, Fuse Project invests in initiatives promoting the health, fitness, education, and social responsibility of our children. All proceeds from this auction will be used to launch our ABC Program in the Avenue community, providing high-quality early learning opportunities for local children.
We know that poverty, and the crushing lack of opportunity associated with it, is an intergenerational phenomenon impacting far too many Americans. Fuse Project, in partnership with The Historic Avenue Foundation, is on a mission to close the opportunity gap. Light the Fuse is not simply a fundraising campaign. It is a lifesaving campaign. We are literally fighting for the lives of our children, but we cannot do it without YOU. Help us fuel our efforts to break the cycle of poverty and close the opportunity gap with Light the Fuse.
About Fuse Project
Fuse Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing the spark for innovation, funding, and implementation of projects benefiting children along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. In partnership with The Historic Avenue Foundation, Fuse Project invests in initiatives promoting the health, fitness, education, and social responsibility of our children.
Fuse Project was founded in 2012 by 8 young professionals from Mobile, Alabama with a common belief that a big impact on our area’s children can be created by a small motivated group. We believe that every child deserves an opportunity for success and we are committed to supporting tangible, realistic projects that will close the opportunity gap for children in our community. From existing philanthropies with specific project ideas to grass-root efforts by motivated members of our community, Fuse Project has partnered with local organizations to support over 55 projects. Through our mantra of “if it’s not WOW, it’s not worth doing", we have created a group of events that help fundraise for our selected projects and help publicize our cause. We aim to invigorate all age groups and demographics in our area through these events and have raised over $4 million to date.
